General Conditions



It will be required for the purchase of the offered products on our website the acceptance of the following conditions at the moment of payment of the services and / or programs requested.

Cost of Programs

The cost of published programs is per person, and it is appropriately detailed in each program and it is expressed in U.S dollars. This cost may be paid in that currency or its equivalent in Chilean pesos at the exchange rate prevailing at the moment of payment.

* Macrotour Reserves the right to change the prices of services and programs without notice, according to the airspace and / or ground services availability at time of booking the services requested. The price of the programs includes only the detailed services and hotel fees, and any service not mentioned in the program will be paid directly by the passenger.


Bookings and Payment

Reservations must be requested at least 30 days prior to the program start date, unless the conditions mentioned in the same report a longer period. All services required will be confirmed by Macrotour in writing to the passengers, keeping the Company with a copy of the submissions. Once confirmed, services must be full paid in our office at least 15 days before the start of the services date or according to the deadline indicated in the booking confirmation. After this deadline, bookings are not guaranteed. In some cases, a prepayment is requested at time of booking, which amount shall be deducted from the total of the contracted services. For requests that are made within a shorter time than the above mentioned, full payment of the services must be made within 24 hours of receiving confirmation thereof. Cash, bank transfers subject to verification by our administration department and credit cards(subject to bank fees and interests) are accepted as payment methods. Regular programs outputs are guaranteed, if and only it meets the requirement of having a minimum of two passengers who will take the same program. These programs cannot be modified in its itinerary or extension, ant it will be only possible to add extra nights at the beginning or end of each program.

Amendments and Cancellations

Any change or cancellation must be sent in writing to our office or via email at ventas@macrotour.cl and it is subject to receipt of the same, as well as regulations and conditions of amendments, cancellation and reimbursement of related services as airlines, hotel and / or ground services in each destination specified in our programs and the cancellation conditions of the particular product. Macrotour reserves the right to change any information contained in this site, including services, prices, availability of space and conditions at any time and without notice, as well as the amounts and percentages of fines stipulated in each product amended or canceled, depending on the services provider. Amendments and / or cancellations without charge are able to be made within a maximum of 30 days before the start of the services date. Any cancellation less than 30 days from the start date is subject to the following penalty fees:

Between 29 and 20 days before departure USD100

Between 19 and 15 days before departure 20%

Between 14 and 10 days before departure 40%

Between 09 and 06 days before departure 60%

Less than 06 days prior to departure or no show 100%


These amendment and cancellation conditions are only for land services. Changes and refunds of airfare are subject to the regulations of each airline fare.

Reimbursement

All refund requests for unused services shall be in writing or via email and delivered to our office or sent to ventas@macrotour.cl within 30 days from the date of completion of services and by presenting unused coupons. Reimbursement will be made only once that Macrotour had verified with its involved providers the reasons for which the services were not delivered. Reimbursement is also is subject to penalties and fines that providers inform us according to the type of product and booking conditions. Voluntarily unused services by the passenger or in case they had been modified without Macrotour’s knowledge and approval once in trip will not be refundable.

Documentation

Documentation for travel is responsibility of each passenger, and thus meets the legal requirements to travel to any of the countries involved in the itinerary. The additional costs incurred by the breach of the foregoing shall be paid directly by the passenger.

Responsabilities

Macrotour responsible for the correct booking, issuance and payment of the requested services to providers and states that it will act only as an intermediary between the services provider and the passenger, and it is not responsible for the final services offered by each provider, or by loss or damage whatsoever that this would infer the passenger. Also is not responsible for accidents, illnesses, delays, lawsuits, loss of luggage or others like strikes, protests, governmental actions, acts of terrorism or political matters that may affect the supply of such services, or inclement weather, floods or earthquakes with may result in prejudice to the final service.

Published programs, tours and excursions are subject to Terms, Conditions and Responsibilities established by each entity involved in this process, such as airlines, hotels and other operators.
